Europe voted for a ban of neonicotinoid pesticides, causing colony collapse disorder
If you are a beekeeper, you’ve, probably heard about the colony collapse disorder . And that one of the reasons of death of bees are the neonicotinoid pesticides. During recent years defendants of bees are trying to restrict their use. Activists of Avaaz website created a largest petition in a history of rescue of bees where over 5 million people signed it.
In addition to that, there were thousands of other petitions and application sent out to ministers of different cities in Europe. And it worked!
Europe voted to ban bee-killing pesticides. This is a huge victory, which opens the way to a new era of more sustainable agriculture.
Canada and US is next for the fight for ban of neonicotinoid pesticides use.
